January2014 Favorites

I hope the first month of 2014 for all of you went well! I don't want to say how the month went fast but I am actually happy it did since I've had enough of this freezing temperatures! I love the snow but I also wish it melts the next day or two and not stay, and leave nasty slush on the curb!
Let's just say I am tired of wearing snow boots and puffy jackets.
Anywho! Enough whining and onto the subject of this post! My monthly favorite products!!!

1- American Classics Treatment: I received this as part of my prize on their Instagram (@AmericanClassicsTreatments) contest back in December and have been playing with these polishes since. All of my NOTD's (Nail of the Days) I usually just post on my Instagram account, which you can check out online or the sidebar here on my blog, if you don't have an Instagram.

  • Bridge The Ridge: This is a base coat polish that makes the polish goes on really smooth. This dries matte so I recently tried using it on top of a polish to make it look matte and it worked! You can check it on my Instagram, here! My polish didn't chip either!
  • Gelous Advanced Gel Coat: I use this in between the two coats of polish I would use that week, and this helps make the polish last longer and not chip at all.
  • In A Hurry Air Dry Top Coat: Dries fast and definitely protects my polish from chipping!
I will be posting a more in-depth review on these polishes plus two more from this line later on this year. So far, I am very impressed with these three!

2- Dolce & Gabbana The One Eau de Parfum sample: Omigosh! This perfume has a nice subtle sweet scent to it. It's very subtle and it is a nice break from wearing a lot of sweet vanilla perfume lately.

Sephora.com has described this fragrance as follows:
The One is a warm, oriental floral, with modern sensuality - a fragrance with a strong personality, and a contrasting golden sweetness. Created for the ultimate diva, The One is at once tempting, modern, and glamorous, embracing a touch of classicism. The top notes radiate a vibrant luminosity, with a sun-touched citrus, while warm fruity notes of luscious lychee and succulent peach add to the delight. The passionate heart evokes an exploding femininity, with an opulent floral soul, creating a distinct, audacious signature. An unexpected hint of plum glows as the base finally blooms with luscious allure into the lasting warmth of vanilla and sweetened ambery-musk notes.
Notes:Bergamot, Mandarin, Lychee, Peach, Madonna Lily, Muguet, Plum, Jasmine, Vetiver, Vanilla, Amber, Musk.Style:Tempting. Modern. Glamorous.
3- Clinique Deep Comfort Body Moisture: I have received this from a gift bag and have been using this as my hand lotion all Winter and has kept my hands really hydrated and soft!

4- Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum with Radiance: So this was part of a kit called the Josie Maran Model Citizen Head to Toe Argan Radiance Set that I will post a blog review on soon. I just have to share this one with you now because this does not just makes my hair looks shiny but feels so soft and smooth after I put this on my dry ends!

5- NYX Butter Lipstick in Pops: This is another great drugstore lipstick product that is pretty moisturizing and has such great color pay off! No need to layer to get the color from this but I do catch myself applying this a few times like a lip balm. It really goes on like buttah! If you have not seen my recent post, it was about my review on this, NYX Butter Lipsticks. You can check it out here:

This list could have been longer since I have been trying out a lot of new products this month that I am liking but don't you worry I have scheduled my posts of the reviews on these products I have mentioned above in the next few weeks or so. Of course, I did not want to bore you with a review after a review after another review, gotta mix it up and keep you coming back!

What's on your January favorites? If you have a post on this, leave your link down in the comments below so I can check it out!
