M•A•C Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallics

I wore each and every color, tested them throughout my day eating, drinking and even working out. Through sweat and greasy food and coffee cups, now I'm ready to share you my thoughts on these
M•A•C Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour METALLICS

I received 6 of the new 15 metallic shades from the M•A•C Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours.
Compared to the classic Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours that came out in 2015, this collection has a matte metallic color in a liquid-suede finish.

I don't own any of the classic Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours but I've read mostly good reviews on it. If the formula of the classic is the same as these, I may get a few of those as well!

The Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallics are very long lasting through drinking and eating (non-greasy food that is!). I needed an oil-based makeup remover to take it off. If you do eat something greasy, a small touch up is all you need and you're good to go again.

These aren't glossy on the lips, unlike other lipstick brands out there that has a metallic finish, this has that suede finish to it. It's non-drying so it was very comfortable to wear all day without the need of a gloss at all. But of course I also moisturized my lips before and after wearing it. The pointy doe foot applicator makes this easy to apply. I haven't really tried applying this on top of a lipliner since these are so opaque that I've just been wearing it by itself.

I actually forgot I was wearing Silver Spoon (gunmetal) the other day and hubby came home asking me why my lips were silver. My favorites are Foiled (rose bronze) and Love Weapon (deep blue-red). I do see myself wearing Metrochrome (gold bronze) and Foiled in the summer, I think these two shades will be great for an all-bronzed makeup look!
In Retrograde (yellow-red) is perfect for the holidays! It has that nice metallic finish to it, to match your sparkly Holiday outfit! Pearl Punk (dusty pink) is a beautiful everyday nude-pink shade to wear. Buzzed Out (fuschia) and Silver Spoon (gunmetal) aren't my cup of tea. Fuschia doesn't really go well with my skin tone and Silver Spoon is not something I'd probably wear that often but maybe when I'm feeling bold, and if an outfit needs some more "attitude".

The video below is a lip swatch of all the 6 shades I received.

I really like the formula of this collection. It's one of the few long lasting matte liquid lipsticks out there that doesn't dry my lips after wearing it all day. My one tip for you is to wait for this to dry before smacking your lips together or else you will have to re-apply to even out the color on your lips. After it's set you're pretty much good for the rest of the day.

Have you tried the M•A•C Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallics? or the classic Retro Mattes?
Which ones your favorite?
