time to answer some questions!!!

GREED: What is your most expensive beauty item?
Solano Xtra Lite Hair Dryer 3300
After a lot of research and going through drugstore hair dryers every 2-3 years, my husband suggested to just invest on a professional one that will last me more than 3 years and will dry my hair as fast as those salon dryers do and also give me a non-static hair. Voila! The Solano has given me all that! Dries my hair half the time as those drugstore ones, leaves my hair shiny - especially after applying some hair serum (so shiny like a new purse!), the motor isn't so loud that I can still manage a quick convo with hubby and the German Shepherd don't mind getting dried with it too after playing in the rain!

best beauty investment ever!

SLOTH: What product do you neglect the most due to laziness?
Eye creams
Only just this year I started using eye creams and I wished I knew them in my 20's before my dark circles and eye wrinkles gotten worse! I am going through different eye cream samples right now and I am liking a few.

WRATH: What item do you have a love/hate relationship with?
my eye makeup removing technique
I have an oil- based one for my everyday eye makeup which works great but on days I use heavy, waterproof eyeliner and mascara on - I seem to wake up to a face with eye makeup residue still! I guess I'll just keep looking for the right eye makeup remover product out there.

GLUTTONY: What brand makes up most of your make-up collection?
theBalm cosmetics
In regards to lip products, it's mostly Revlon products.
I do plan to expand my theBalm collection tho, I really do love how their products work with my sensitive skin and how pigmented the eye shadows are!

I still want more theBalm products!

PRIDE: Which product gives you the most confidence?
my lip products
When I don't feel like wearing anything else, I just grab one of my favorite lip product of the moment. This gives my face a little color, and I think instead of people staring at my bare face they will just check out my bright lips!

this is not even half of my lip collection! These are the colors I have been grabbing recently.

LUST: Which item is at the top of your Beauty Wish List?
Jouer Matte Moisture Tint
I was able to sample this through one of my Birchboxes when I was subscribed last year, and I love how only a little bit of this covers, evens out my skin pretty well! I have not bought this since I still am finishing my BareEscentuals Mineral Foundation which works well right now for me.

ENVY: Which makeup product/ look is great on others but not on you?
top buns/ high ponytails
Though I have a heart shaped face, a ponytail or a high top bun makes my face look rounder, and on pictures it just adds 10 lbs more to my face! It doesn't matter how heavy I contour, pulling my hair back just accentuates the roundness of my face. So when I go out, I part my hair on one side and put it on a side braid.

This was a tough one to answer, since I can have more than one answer for each!
Anyways, so here are the bloggers I'd like to tag. If you have done this post, put your link on the comments below so I can read it! And if you haven't, go do it now and let me know!

  1. Hey Jackie! Thanks for doing the tag, loved your answers. I agree with the blow dryer, no one should be going through them that fast lol. I only use a blow dryer about 3 times per year!! I try very hard not to use heat on my hair. I reduced by heat styling down to 3-4 times per year about 2 yrs ago and the results are long shiny healthier hair.
