The Makeup Show NYC 2017

The Makeup Show NYC will take place on
Sunday, May 7th from 9am-6pm and Monday, May 8th from 9am-5pm
at Metropolitan Pavilion - 125 W. 18th St, New York City.

And The Makeup Show announces "Colors of Beauty" with Moises Ramirez.

This rare gallery will showcase the work of NYC based painter and makeup artist who is known for blending, painting, photography, makeup artistry, illustration, and drawing to influence each other in his work. Through color and texture, he explores the idea of beauty and what we find beautiful today. While Ramirez studied mixed medium and digital arts at Arizona State University, he branched off into the beauty world with a position at a creative global cosmetic company.

"The Makeup Show is honored to have Moises sharing his work here with us in the show. Colors of Beauty is a selection of multimedia pieces from various art collections that Moises has worked on in the past few years. Most of his work is and has been influenced by working in the beauty industry. "  -Shelly Taggar, Owner of The Makeup Show

Moises Ramirez will also have a keynote that will be held on Sunday, May 7 from 10am-11:30am. Attendees will learn how the marriage and mirroring of fine art in the fashion and beauty communities is essential for moving forward in this industry. Color, texture, and the fundamentals of artistry ensure that makeup moves beyond the basic and becomes both impactful and memorable.
