I Am Awesome, Unique, Strong, Perfect... with RealHer Cosmetics

I've been very distracted (and lazy) lately and have neglected my blog. Now I got the holiday-mode out of my system, I do feel refreshed now. I don't have big plans or goals for this year, I actually want to take it easy... Well more of like -- see how it goes instead of pressuring myself to get more likes and readers by end of the month or year OR get as many paid posts which can get overwhelming since those come with due dates.

On that note, let's begin with today's post which is a makeup review on a brand that I'm really excited to share with you! Most of you may have seen it already all over my Instagram, and know that I love what this brand stands for. Keep reading to see what I think of
RealHer cosmetics

RealHer is a brand that empowers and inspire all. It's 100% Vegan, Natural and Cruelty-Free.
20% of their proceeds are donated to organizations that empower women.
Book I "Be Your Own Kind of Beauty"
eyeshadow palette

There are three different 9-eyeshadow "book" palettes and I would love to have all three books because they all have really beautiful color combinations. They all have a mix of warm and cool tone shades and are so wearable for day or night time.
I have been grabbing for my Book I eyeshadow palette since I received this. All these shades are just so easy to wear. It's a finely pigmented eyeshadow that is easy to blend and pigmented. I use an eyeshadow primer and the colors just stand out more.

In the arm-swatch picture below, I sprayed MAC Prep+Prime Fix+ on my arm before I swatched and the shadows just look more vibrant, so I highly suggest to use a primer before applying these shadows. Strong (matte cool taupe) and Smart (matte black) are the only matte shadows in the palette so I usually use another palette for my crease. I prefer using a matte warm light brown on my crease that's why I grab another palette with this. The rest of the shadows have this beautiful subtle-sheen to it. It's not overly sparkly or metallic looking.

"I Am Awesome" True Nude
lip kit

You can buy these individually as well on their website but I do love using these altogether.
The I Am Awesome lip gloss | $21.00 has a warm tone to it which complements the I Am Perfect matte liquid lipstick | $18.00 which is a mauve shade but on my lips it looks more like a cooler nude shade.
The gloss and the I Love Myself | $12.50 lip liner are so creamy and goes on really nice and smooth. No tacky-feeling gloss here! The gloss is pretty moisturizing so I like wearing this by itself. The matte liquid lipstick when I wore it alone was too drying for me. I had to apply the gloss on top after a few minutes because I could just feel my lips drying out.

When worn altogether it's pretty long wearing, but of course not until you eat some greasy food. But through drinks and hors d'oeuvres, you'll be okay.

Here's a look I created with these products and a very amateur attempt on a cut-crease eye makeup look using the Book I palette. On my lips I used the True Nude lip kit.

Overall, it's a brand I highly suggest to check out. I would like to try out more products from them but so far I'm really liking all these products! From the packaging to the product itself, you can tell it's well made and only made with the best quality of natural and vegan ingredients.
