As I strip off the layers of clothes I wear, now the weather is getting warmer, I never thought I would see the day my legs and arms looking pretty pale! I am usually tan all year round but being bundled up all Winter, my skin got a bit lighter. Part of me do like my new medium skin tone shade, and another part of me do like the look of golden tan. Now it's the season to show some legs so instead of trying to tan under the sun and get back that golden-tan color, I thought I'd try out my new favorite instant tanning brand Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter and try out her new

This is a non-comedogenic product just like all her Cocoa Brown products which means it is safe to use on the face. It is also scented with the signature Cocoa Brown Tahitian Gardenia scent.
Apply this on clean, dry skin using your hands.
This easily washes off and dries instantly. It has a nice gel formula so it's lightweight and applies smoothly to the skin. This easily rinses off in the shower.
Golden Goddess Dry Shimmer Oil
This adds an illuminating glow to your Cocoa Brown Tan.

My Thoughts
I like using the Bronzing Gel for an all over tan. This gives me a shade darker than my skin tone now. It looks natural, I don't look too orange or muddy, just that natural darker skin tone like I have spent a day under the sun. I apply this after taking a shower with my hands. It goes on with no patches. It dries really fast, so you can get dress right after. I do have to wash my hands a few times to rinse it all off.
I have never used other instant tanning products before so I don't know how they smell but this one has a nice scent to it. It reminds me of the floral-beachy type of scent. It's not too strong either and it goes away eventually.
Once I get into the shower, my instant tanned skin washes off as well. I prefer using this on special occasions, when I need to show some skin like on a date night or girl's night or at evening events.
I use the Golden Goddess Shimmering Dry Oil alone or with the Bronzing Gel when I want my skin to be glowing. The fine glitter in the oil do settle on the bottom of the bottle so I have to shake the bottle before using it.
This will definitely give your body that "JLo Glow" that you see in her "Waiting for Tonight" video. It gives your skin that glow after you came from a beach vacation, that's what it reminds me off.
Overall, these two new products from Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter are a must-try if you like to get that instant tan on your skin. I love that this two can be used alone or together as well. They're pretty easy to use and it comes off right away if you only need to be bronzed for the day or the weekend.
