Face of The Week: Fall Night Look

I was debating what to post first. This FOTD Look or my September Favorites, but since I'm already a day late on that, what's another day to delay it and share you all my fave Fall Night Look!
I got inspired by what I received in my September Ipsy Glambag, which you can read right HERE! And my new favorite Fall lipstick, Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Venom, which I did a review riiight HERE! -To do a Fall Night Time Eye Look! Plus we were going out that night so why not go all out and do a catty smokey eye!

FACE:
With this look tho I was already wearing a No-Makeup Makeup Face since we were doing errands that morning and when we got back home and woke up from our afternoon nap I only had an hour to get ready to go out again! My Urban Decay Naked Foundation which I applied that morning was still ok. A little oily on my T-zone and my cheek area didn't have much cover-up as I want to but I was not about to layer on more foundation that has been sitting on my face all day. So I just blotted the oil and powdered my face with NYX Mineral "Set It & Don't Fret It" Matte Finishing Powder. I brightened my under eye area with my favorite Maybelline Dream Lumi in Honey Beige, since I was going to do a darker eye look. I also just touched up my blush, Hervana blush by Benefit.

EYES:
  • I didn't put any primer on since I am just adding a bit more shadow to my daytime eye look. Taking a fluffy brush and theBalm Nude 'Tude palette, using the shade Sultry- I put this all over my crease in a windshield wiper motion, to give my crease some depth.

  • Next I took my Peek-A-Bright Eye Kit and used the matte white shade in the palette all over my lid with a flat brush.

  • Now the fun part! Making my cat eye smokey! This is my first time doing this after seeing it on TV and I love this for nights I don't want a very heavy eye makeup. I took my waterproof MakeUp Forever Kohl eye liner and made an outline for my shadow, close to my upper lash line. I grabbed an angled brush and smudged this a bit and made a slight wing in the outer corner.
  • With a flat definer brush, I took my NYX Single Eye Shadow in Cryptonite and traced my liner and wing, giving it a nice smokey effect to it! This shade is a nice dark gray shade so it doesn't look that harsh as a black eye shadow so it gives a nice smokey effect to the cat eye. Whatever is left on the brush I just smudged it on my lower lash line.
  • With my lower water line I used Mally Beauty Waterproof eye liner in Gunmetal, which I like to use when I do my night looks because it's again not as harsh as a black eyeliner which will just overwhelm my eyes I think. Also, I gently lined close to my upper lash line since I can't tight line my upper water line that well.
  • To define my cat eye more, I used my theBalm Scwing liquid liner that dries in matte black! Can you tell I don't want a lot of shimmer with this look? The only shimmer I want is from my inner corners of the eyes to make me look awake!
  • To make my cat wing look sharper and defined, I used my Inglot AMC Cream Concealer #70 and a clean flat angled brush to clean that area. Saw this technique used on YouTube by a few beauty gurus.
  • My favorite right now to highlight my inner corners is Tarte's SmolderEYES Amazonian Clay  Waterproof liner in Champagne.

wrist - swatch! LoL
  • Lastly, sprayed my face with Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Setting Spray.
  • Curled my lashes and used my sample size They're Real Mascara by Benefit. I would have layered it with a waterproof mascara but I totally forgot but thank goodness this didn't smudge the few hours we were out.
LIPS
  • I actually forgot to put the Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in Venom, since I was running out of time. But good thing hubby was not dressed yet and taking his time so when I looked in the mirror and missing some lip color, I grabbed this lipstick right away! I would've applied a lip liner underneath but when in hurry you just have to make it work, right?!

Tada! Here's the final look!

Again, I was aiming to look fierce on this picture! My best take on no-smile-like-a-model look!

Yes I was able to snap a few pics before we left since hubby couldn't decide what to wear. I also just put my hair up in a messy ponytail since I was having a flat hair day.

So how has your makeup look changed for the Fall? I want to try to do some day time looks using plums and gold shadows, so I'm looking around here and Pinterest for some inspiration. So if you have done a Fall look on your blog, put your link in the comments below so I can check it out!

Thanks for stopping by gorgeous peeps!
And yes my September Faves will be next!
