London Haul: Sleek Make-Up Review

So my London budget went mostly to a lot of UK beauty products, and for this post I want to share with you some of the Sleek MakeUp I bought. I will do another post of the eye shadow palettes from Sleek so this post don't become a novel long!

About the company
Sleek MakeUp aims to make great quality products that are very accessible. One of the fastest growing brands on high-street (primary stores in the UK). Sleek MakeUp caters to the skin tones from the dark to the very fair and everyone in between.

Blush by 3 in Pink Lemonade
Includes three complementary shades and in different finishes from creamy to matte to rich shimmers. The shades can be layered on or used individually that will take you from a day-to-night look. You can find it in eight different color combinations that will suit any skin tones. It comes in this nice mirrored thin compact that is very travel-friendly.

shades from L-R: Pink Mint - Macaroon - Icing Sugar

The Pink Lemonade palette comes with two shimmery shades in Pink Mint (blush pink with gold shimmers) and Icing Sugar (coral pink with gold shimmers). The creamy blush, Macaroon, is this nice rosy pink shade that is easy to blend. It has that cream-to-powder matte finish.

L-R: Pink Mint - Macaroon - Icing Sugar

I use the small ELF Stippling brush to apply this on as it is very pigmented and you only need a little bit of this on your brush. I like to layer on the blushes for a more long-lasting wear, by first applying the cream blush, Macaroon, on the apple of the cheeks and blending it towards your hairline then apply either one of the two shimmery powder shades on top.

Face Form Contouring & Blush Palette in Medium

"Available in 4 unique colour combinations, ranging from light to dark.
Please note:Face Form in Fair and Light come with contour powder, highlighter and blush.
Face Form in Medium and Dark come available with contour powder, highlighter and a bronzer."

L-R: Contour Powder - Highlighter - Bronzer

I love the highlighter in this palette! A beautiful shimmery highlight that is not chunky when applied on the cheekbones and it blends really well. The bronzer has fine shimmers in it as well. Both just gives the skin that nice glow. I have not used the contouring shade but from the swatch I may just use this as an eye shadow since it looks too dark for my skin tone.

Blush in Rose Gold
These blush compact comes in 12 different shades that will suit any skin tone. They are long lasting and is very pigmented. Once applied on the cheeks, it will give you that nice radiant glow.

Rose Gold blush

From what I have read, this is a blogger/vlogger favorite as it is an inexpensive dupe for NARS Orgasm blush. I unfortunately don't have the NARS blush but I did compare it to another close dupe for NARS Orgasm which is from theBalm called Hot Mama.

L-R: theBalm Hot Mama Blush - Rose Gold blush

Sleek MakeUp's Rose Gold blush has more gold shimmers to it when applied on. Compared to theBalm's Hot Mama blush, Rose Gold shows more peachy pink with lots of gold shimmers. I use this more of a highlighter because of the shimmer in this blush.

Sleek MakeUp blush powders are such finely milled and very pigmented product but not powdery that it gets all over. I do still tap my brush after dabbing on the pan out of habit but there's really no need for it. I am in-love with all these shimmers in the blushes that I may have gone out of the house glowing like a disco ball one time BUT more like a natural glowing disco ball though (LOL!).

I do think for a drugstore makeup, you get a great quality product that can be compared to the luxury brands out there. The nice simple, sleek packaging is very travel-friendly and all the compacts comes with a mirror.

Have you tried any Sleek MakeUp products?
