About the company

YSL Beauty by Yves Saint Lauren focuses on makeup, fragrance and skincare products.

In addition to their YSL Touche Eclat collection are the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer and YSL Touche Eclat Blur Perfector. One is to help prime your face and give you that luminizing glow and the other one to minimize pores and make your skin looking smooth.

About the products

It's a non-comedogenic foundation primer that has been formulated with the radiance boosting formulas of Touche Eclat and the perfecting effects of blur. It also has four nourishing oils to make the skin nice and soft without any greasy residue.

"pores look diminished, skin texture feels smoother, skin tone looks more even and luminous"

The primer has this tiny gold specks in it which gives your skin that nice healthy glow.
In a 5x magnified mirror, you can definitely see these golden specks but once you add your foundation on top of it, your skin is just glowing!

It has that gel-like texture and only a dime size of this is all you need to apply all over the face.

This balm-powder compact is like a transparent foundation that perfects your complexion, minimizes pores, skin looking and feeling smoother and giving you that nice glow. It comes in this universal shade that can also be used even with the most sensitive skin.

This all over complexion perfector can also be used as a finishing touch to your makeup routine and/or as a mattifying touch-up in between during the day. This is a non-comedogenic product, and was tested under dermatological control.

The product comes in this gold packaging. This picture does not show it at all!
*I'm going to blame my photo skills here for not capturing that, apologies to everyone!

The product also came with a "small makeup puff" and a velvet pouch.
The compact was not designed to keep a "small makeup puff" so I keep this inside the velvet pouch. I am not sure how sanitary that is but for now I do use the puff to pat the product on my T-zone, just like what I have told +Liz Outh of My Pretty Obsessions
I have tried using it as the finishing touch on my makeup instead of using an all-over powder to keep my foundation in place and as a mattifying touch-up later in the day, and it works great at both times!
I have also used it on top of no makeup at all and it really mattified my skin and minimize my pores!

Pretty much a home run for YSL Beauty with these new Touche Eclat products! I haven't tried anything else from YSL Beauty besides their Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks, and now I definitely want to try more especially from the Touche Eclat collection.

Have you tried these products? What do you think?
What have you tried from YSL Beauty? Any suggestions?
