Holiday Glam 2013 Collaboration

An idea was thrown out there and a collaboration with a few other pretty ladies was made!
This is the  Holiday Glam 2013 Collaboration!!!

I had this planned post for December to do a Holiday Make-up Look for those who needs inspiration for their upcoming Holiday Parties/ Get Togethers! I asked a few other ladies as well to join me in this post as I know a few of you may have more than one or two parties to attend to and need a few different inspirational looks, outfits, hair do's and nail arts. In the end of this post, I have listed the links of the other ladies who have done their own Holiday Glam Look so do check out their posts after as we all have a different look/style to give you all!

I was inspired by a YouTube Beauty Guru, ILearnWithMinette to do a Gold/Green shadow look for the Holidays! Do check out her channel as she made a video on this too using less products than I did. I usually don't wear green eye shadow so I thought this would be a fun look to do for the holidays as it is something different from my usual everyday daytime and/or evening makeup. I do love wearing gold during this time of month, and for this look I went more with a yellow gold tone to pair with this nice green shadow from the NYX Wicked Dreams Palette. I paired this with a light peachy pink blush and a muted pink lips as we want our look to be more focused on our eyes and be the "center of attention" when they see our face.

Outfit Suggestions:

  • So for this look you can definitely put your hair down (curled/wavy) or up (high or low bun). I also paired it with a yellow-gold pair of earrings and went for a more toned down outfit. I am just wearing an animal print black and grey cardigan in the picture but for sure this will definitely pop with a LBD (little black dress)!!! Accessorize with either a nice pair of neutral pumps and small black clutch but this is a Holiday party so go take your glittery gold shoes out and sparkling clutch and work it!
  • Here's an outfit I made with Polyvore as how I would wear this look. As you can see I love gold and made the emerald green my accent color.

  • You can definitely play with this look! If you have emerald green chandelier earrings make that as your standout accessory! Or if you have a nice gold/green statement necklace, wear that and keep your earrings simple like a nice diamond stud maybe?
