About the product

Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation
A long-lasting multitasking cover stick that will create a flawless complexion on camera and to the naked eye. It contains amino acid coated pigments to give medium to full coverage. It has a lightweight formula that will give a natural-look on the skin. It's formulated with hyaluronic spheres for time-released hydration that is good for normal to dry skin, and to use as touch-up throughout the day.

As the original pioneer of the HD makeup category, it continues to redefine and elevate beauty standards with the launch of its ULTRA HD FOUNDATION, the first and only foundation designed for 4K technology.
My shade 128 = Y415 Almond
I would say this is a medium neutral shade.

My Thoughts

The first time I tried this on was from a MUFE event and my skin looked almost flawless and the girl didn't even applied a lot of this! I bought it recently since I am a bit lighter now and most of the foundations I have are in Tan (*which I have not been all year since I have been hiding from the sun!).
I wore it everyday since I got it and the coverage can be built up to full but I only do one layer of this and use my K-Beauty face brush (Etude House Face Brush) and that gives me a nice medium coverage. It evens out the redness and my acne scars on my cheeks but as I wear it out through the day, I see my skin starting to look shinier than I'm usually is. I used my ELF HD powder to touch-up but this two gives me a cakey makeup look which was not pretty!
After a week of wearing this everyday, I noticed my skin breaking out a bit as well so I'm guessing this isn't an everyday-wear type of makeup. If you do have dry skin, I suggest to hydrate your skin really well as this can cling on to your dry areas.
I love that this gave a nice coverage and a flawless look of my skin but I guess the formula was just too heavy that I started breaking out.

I returned this purchase because I was not looking for a foundation that I need for special occasions nor makes my skin shiny by end of day, and break me out by the end of the week after wearing it everyday! It's a great foundation but my skin did not like it and so I'm glad Sephora has a great return policy and I was able to return this after giving this a try.

I am still on the look out for my holy grail foundation and there are tons still to try out!
What is your HG Foundation? Or have you tried any new foundations out there that wow-ed you?
