I always think if I apply twice as much makeup on my face, my face will also need twice the TLC when I remove the makeup... Does that makes sense?
Not to compare my face to a dirty laundry but another way to think of it is like the dirtier the laundry, don't you add more laundry detergent to the washer, right?
So when I get a chance at night to give my face an additional TLC, I apply a face mask while I wind down to watch The Great British Bake Off. And lately, I have been using these

The five At-Home Facial Masks are sold individually on their site,
and retails for $28.00 each. They are 100% vegan as well.
This is an exfoliating gel mask that revives and energizes the skin,
and fights back against signs of fatigue.
Uniting powerful acai berry, energising guarana & smoothing Community Trade organic babassu oil from Brazil
I really like this mask. This has such a nice fresh berry smell that really wakes up the senses!
As I wash this off, the berries in the mask gently exfoliates my skin leaving it nice and smooth.
This gel mask restores skin's moisture and gives that petal-like smoothness.
Infused with rose petals, moisturising rose essence from Britain, toning rosehip oil from Chile & soothing Community Trade organic aloe vera from Mexico.
This has a subtle rose scent to it which I actually like and quite relaxing.
I think this will be great for those who have dry skin since it leaves the skin well moisturized.
This mud mask gives your skin an exhilarating new lease of life!
Combining powerful bamboo charcoal from the Himalayan foothills, active exfoliating green tea leaves from Japan & potent Community Trade organic tea tree oil from Kenya.
I really love this mud mask! I leave this on for about 3-5minutes or once the mud hardens and I use a wash cloth to remove and wash it off. I love the "minty-cooling" feel it leaves on the skin. This has bits of green tea leaves in it which I gently rub onto my skin as I wash it off and this leaves my skin nice and smooth.
This creamy exfoliating mask softens, evens and reveals skin's brightness.
Ginseng is known for boosting energy and enhancing stamina. It's also known to have toning and stimulating properties... Balancing revitalizing ginseng, moisturizing rice extract from China and skin softening Community Trade sesame seed oil from Nicaragua.
This has finer "beads" that is great for a gentle exfoliation. I just massage this throughout my face before rinsing it off.
Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask
$28.00 | 3.0 oz
This mask will boost hydration to the skin, improve skin's elasticity and prevent dryness.
...with pure Community Trade honey, restoring Community Trade marula oil from Namibia & hydrating Community Trade organic olive oil from Italy.
This felt very sticky and was the most difficult to wash off. I had to use my wash cloth to remove this honey mask off.
My skin did feel very soft and smooth afterwards and helped with the dry patches. I may have applied too much and will try to just use a thin layer on the skin next time.
I always use a brush to apply my mask to minimize the mess application.
Once I've rinsed off the mask, I apply my toner then my serum, my Tazorac cream and finally my night cream, Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream ($39.00 | 2.7 oz) which is from The Body Shop as well.
One of the best night creams I have used! It keeps my skin well moisturized throughout the night, and any dryness I get from skincare products I test, this cream will re-hydrate my skin within two to three days of use! It's pretty awesome.
