Mally Beauty Secret to Happy 7-piece Collection

You know that feeling when somebody dangles your favorite cupcake or donut or chocolate in front of your face when they know you are on a sugar-free cleanse!?! Don't you just want to strangle them!?! It's the same feeling I get when hubby changes the channel to QVC when he sees Tuesday/ Friday Night Beauty is on! I can usually control myself and not grab my phone to purchase BUT when there is such a really good deal like this
Mally Beauty Secret to Happy 7-pc Collection
How can I not?!?
Mally Beauty Secret to Happiness 7-pc Collection

About the product
Retails for $49.96 (plus s+h and tax) on QVC.com
This collection comes with 7 of Mally Beauty products that was founded by celebrity make-up artist, Mally Roncal. The collection is to help brighten and liven up your face. It comes in this beautiful metallic pink traveling make-up bag which has a hook on one end so you can hang it anywhere and all the products are secured in their own compartments.

"This collection is based on capturing Mally's philosophy of "Joyful Beauty" and infusing it into formulations that deliver. These products are happiness and joy, giving physicality to an emotion. They immediately give a shot of vitality and life to the face, a glow, a lit-from-within exuberance, that is truly unique to Mally Beauty."

The collection comes with the following products:
  • 0.39 oz Poreless Perfection Foundation with Sponge (I got mine in Medium)
  • 0.19 oz High Shine Creme Intenses in Happy Pink
  • 0.08 fl oz. Dark Circle Corrector
  • 0.04 oz Evercolor Waterproof Starlight Eyeliner in Chocolate Diamond
  • 0.003 fl oz Universal Precision Brow Wand
  • 0.39 fl oz Volumizing Mascara
  • Foundation brush
  • Sharpener

I decided not to include any color swatches of the products here as they are your basic black and brown shades. So let's just jump into My Thoughts about these products!

My Thoughts
I wanted to get this review out as soon as possible while it is still available on QVC.com so I have been using the whole collection every time I do my makeup since I got it two weeks ago. On days I just need to give my face some color and make me look awake, the 7 products is enough for me, but if I want to doll up for the day or night, I still grab for my blush, bronzer, eyeshadow palette and other stuff.

The High Shine Creme Intense in Happy Pink is as pink as what you see in the tube. This is honestly too pink for me but if you do follow Mally Roncal on her social medias and watch her on QVC, this looks like her signature pink lip shade that she always wears. I do love this gloss though! It's non-sticky, pretty pigmented and non-drying gloss. I have worn it all day and forget I have it on because it feels like a lip balm on my lips. This though, doesn't last long after eating and/or drinking product so re-applying is needed.

My favorites from this collections are the Poreless Perfection foundation which I use with a wet beauty blender since that's where I find the most coverage than using it dry, and the dark circle corrector. This is a twist up pen with a sponge tip so you can apply this under the eyes from the tube. I pat this on with my fingers and a beauty blender afterwards. It definitely brightened up that area, and so I have been using it to highlight the bridge of my nose, center of my forehead and cupid's bow as well.

The Universal Precision brow wand could be better and the Everproof Waterproof Starlight eyeliner in Chocolate Diamond  glides on smoothly and is long lasting but I do prefer a black-brown shade to line my eyes. This brown liner would look great probably if you have a different eye color, so for my top lid and waterline, I still grab a black liner. It does not budge which is great, so I'll keep using it on my lower waterline. The Volumizing Mascara, hmm... I really wanted to love this mascara since it lifts and really volumizes my lashes but it flakes off after it dries, and I can't help to just rub my eyes sometimes because there's a small speck of black thing inside my eyeball!

Here's a simple look I did and so, I went for a more pinky-nude lips and neutral eyes here. Here are the other products I used for this makeup look:

  • Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
  • Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette (highlight and as a setting powder)
  • Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion
  • Urban Decay Eyehshadow Primer Potion- Anti Aging
  • theBalm Shady Lady Vol.1 palette
    • All About Alex (olive green shimmery shade) all over the lid
    • Jet-Setting Jennifer (light yellow shimmery shade) center of the lid
  • Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer (crease shadow and contour)
  • Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Push-Up liner
  • Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in GlacĂ©

I think this collection is a good way to try out Mally Beauty products from the face to the eyes to the lips. Since my main reason for getting this collection is to see if her foundation will do well for my skin, I am pretty satisfied with this purchase. This may not be an ace on my books for a purchase but I am still pretty happy with it.

So as soon as I purchased this product, hubby was smiling as well since he knew he did good by changing the channel to QVC. Happy wife, happy life!

Will you be watching tonight's Friday Night Beauty?!?
